PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition that exhibits high-degree weld strengths and is excellent in rigidity, dimensional stability and molding processability. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition includes 98-40 wt.% of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A) and 2-60 wt.% of a resin component comprised of a liquid crystal polyester resin (component B) and a thermoplastic polyester resin (component C) having a terminal carboxy group content of 1-50 eq/ton, where the weight ratio of the component B to the component C, (B)/(C), is 98/2-33/67; the aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A) forms a continuous phase while the liquid crystal polyester resin (component B) forms a dispersed phase; and the average particle size of the liquid crystal polyester resin dispersed particles having a major axis/minor axis ratio of at least 1 and less than 3 is within the range of 0.4-5μm. The polycarbonate resin composition having such constitution exhibits excellent properties that have not been accomplished by conventional techniques such as high-degree weld strengths as well as excellent rigidity, dimensional stability and molding processability.
