PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching/detaching device of a pipe connecting member easily constructible without upsizing the attaching/detaching device, and attaching/detaching the pipe connecting member in a continuous flow without requiring skills. SOLUTION: This attaching/detaching device of the pipe connecting member is provided for attaching/detaching the pipe connecting member FP, by water-tightly inserting a valve element 2a between opposed surfaces of flanges F1 and F2 by a valve element insertion part 1, by out-fitting the valve element insertion part 1 to the flanges F1 and F2 interposed between a branch part B of an existing fluid pipe P and the pipe connecting member FP connected to the branch part B. The valve element insertion part 1 is provided with: a first water seal packing adhered around the flange F1 on the branch part B side: and a second water seal packing 8 closely attached around the flange F2 on the pipe connecting member FP side.
