PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a precise rail overturning preventing effect and to hold down the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This railroad rail overturning preventing device 1 includes a rail overturning preventing plate 12 and a plate spring 14. The rail overturning preventing plate 12 includes a rail groove 126 where a rail 6 is disposed, a first arm 134, and a rail reaction force bearing seat 136. When lateral force is applied to the rail 6 due to derailment of a vehicle, an angleαof inclination of the rail 6 can be reduced by cooperation of the first arm 134 and the rail reaction force bearing seat 136.
