PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide deodorant confectionery exhibiting favorable deodorant effect even in relatively short-time ingestion, in contrast to the fact that deodorant chewing gum does not exhibit deodorant effect until an eater continues to chew the gum for a long time. SOLUTION: The deodorant confectionery includes a mixture of at least one kind of a labiatae organization deodorized and disinfected via steam treatment and a polyphenol component-containing solution produced as a residual solution in the steam treatment.
