PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter that can prevent pulsation of a seedling planting apparatus, promotes the smooth operation of the seedling planting apparatus and can aim at improvement in planting precision. SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter is equipped with a means for transmitting power from a motor through the irregular speed transmission mechanism (90) of an intrarow spacing speed change apparatus (K) to the seedling planting apparatus and a means for transmitting the power at a constant speed to a traveling apparatus not through the irregular speed transmission mechanism (90) in which a generator (102) is driven by a transmission shaft (101) rotated at an irregular speed by the irregular speed transmission mechanism (90). The seedling transplanter is equipped with a control means for determining that pulsation occurs in a transmission to the seedling planting apparatus when a sharp fluctuation happens in the electric power generation of the generator.
