TERMITE PROOF STRUCTURE AND TERMITE PROOF METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite proof structure and a termite proof method capable of forming a passage for applying a chemical by a simple method and of easily and surely spraying the chemical after a thermal insulator is installed. SOLUTION: The thermal insulator 4 is so disposed along a continuous footing 2 extending in the vertical direction and a deposited concrete 3 extending horizontally from the continuous footing 2 that the gap facing the connection portion 8 between the inner side surface of the continuous footing 2 and the upper surface of the deposited concrete 3 is defined as a passage 7 for applying the chemical. The chemical is sprayed over the connection portion 8 by supplying the chemical to the passage 7 immediately and/or after a predetermined period is elapsed. By the termite proof structure 1 and the termite proof method, while easily forming the passage 7 by the thermal insulator 4, the chemical can be easily and surely sprayed after the thermal insulator 4 is disposed.
