<p>Disclosed is a means effective for the treatment of infectious diseases, particularly infectious diseases induced by a bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Specifically disclosed are: a monoclonal antibody directed against PcrV or a part of the monoclonal antibody; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the monoclonal antibody or the part of the monoclonal antibody as an active ingredient. The monoclonal antibody has excellent inhibitory activity on the cytotoxic activity of a bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa against its target cell. The monoclonal antibody also has high affinity for PcrV.</p>
