The headlight has a headlight module (10) with an illuminant (11) e.g. LED illuminant, associated with primary optics (12). The primary optics divides light radiated by the illuminant into multiple light beams (13-15), so that the light beam (13) is incident on a projection lens (16) acting as secondary optics, and the light beams (14, 15) are incident on respective reflectors (17, 18) acting as secondary optics. The primary optics is arranged directly adjacent to the illuminant. The illuminant is arranged at a recess of the primary optics.
