<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer storage device in which developer in a storage part can be used economically, by efficiently peeling the developer adhering to the inner wall of the storage part, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the developer storage device. <P>SOLUTION: The developer storage device 61, provided with the storage part 64 storing the developer, by which a latent image on an image carrier 48 is developed into a visible image, is provided with a plate-like rocking member 110, whose upper part is fixed to the inner wall 64A of the storage part 64 and which is arranged along the inner wall 64A; and a rocking means which has a stirring and conveying part 94 rotatably provided and stirs and conveys the developer and moves the lower part of the rocking member 110, in a direction away from the inner wall 64A. The lower part of the rocking member 110 is locked from downward by the stirring and conveying part 94 of the rocking means, so that the rocking member 110 is lifted in a direction away from the inner wall 64A, and the lower part of the rocking member 110 is unlocked from the stirring and transport part 94 of the rocking means, so as to have the rocking member 110 return to the side of the inner wall 64A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
