<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of suppressing deformation of a safety valve also by deformation of a case accompanying generation of a gas in the case. <P>SOLUTION: The power storage device has a power storage unit (31), a liquid heat exchange medium (5) for carrying out heat exchange between the power storage unit, a case (2) to house the power storage unit and the heat exchange medium, and a valve (23) to discharge gas generated in the case to the outside.
