PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can adjust the depth of field of an image or express a characteristic blur after photographing based on actually obtained light ray information. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is equipped with an imaging lens 11 having an aperture stop 10; an imaging element 13 which receives light while retaining the traveling direction of the light ray, and generates imaging data D0 including a plurality of pixel data; a micro lens array 12, with one micro lens assigned to a plurality of pixels of the imaging element 13; and an image processing section 14. When the imaging data D0 is input into the image processing section 14, the plurality of pixel data which constitute the imaging data D0 are weighted according to the traveling direction of the light ray, and predetermined integration processing is performed to reconstruct the set image (image data Dout) at an optional focal point.
