PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make clear, even after editing, where and how images are shot without recording shooting location data separately from image data. SOLUTION: The camera instrument 1 includes an image pick-up means which outputs an image pick-up signal corresponding to an optical image, an image data generating means which generates image data corresponding to the optical image by using the image pick-up signal output from the image pick-up means, a position information obtaining means which obtains position information relative to the shooting location, a direction information obtaining means which obtains direction information for specifying the direction of the image pick-up means and an inserting means which inserts the position information obtained by the position information obtaining means and the direction information obtained by the direction information obtaining means into the image data generated by the image data generating means when the image data generating means generates image data.
