PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of making an earthquake notification tentatively. SOLUTION: When it is determined that an operation is made from an input unit to instruct an earthquake notification to be made tentatively (step S210), a control unit goes on with processing to step S220. In the step S220, the control unit reads audio data or display data for a test mode being stored in a flash memory 20 and goes on with processing to step S230. In the step S230, the control unit outputs from a speaker the audio data for the test mode read from the flash memory and displays on a display unit the display data for the test mode read from the flash memory.
