PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus capable of suppressing the occurrence of jamming when a one-side recorded recording medium on which an image is recorded on one side surface is fed by a paper re-feeding roller, and smoothly carrying the one-side recorded recording medium. SOLUTION: In a flap 37 supporting recording paper P on which the image is recorded on one side surface from a carrying direction upstream side to a front side of a paper feeding roller 25, of a tip end portion on a carrying direction downstream side, the whole area except areas T1, T2 opposite to the paper feeding roller 25 is cut off as a notch portion K. Therefore, while cockling is generated on the recording paper P on which an image is recorded on a surface carried on the flap 37, the tip end portion on the carrying direction downstream side of the recording paper is press-contacted by the paper feeding roller 25, and even if the tip end portion is deformed, pressure due to the deformation can be released by the notch portion K.
