PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor wherein required binding strength is secured even when binding length is shortened and parallelism to a head of a disk can be secured. SOLUTION: A hole formed at a central part of a hub 21 to which a disk 31 is fixed and a shaft 27 in which a shape of the binding part with the hub 21 is a tilt plane 27b are press-fitted, and the tilt plane 27b is formed on the shaft 27, thereby even if binding force of a clamp screw 33 is made larger, press-in binding strength is improved, and parallelism of the disk 31 to the head can be secured.
