PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head which can reduce manufacturing costs and can simplify manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: The liquid jet head 100 includes a nozzle plate 102 which has nozzle holes 126; a reservoir plate 104 which is formed above the nozzle plate and has through-holes 128, supply ports 122 and a reservoir space 120; a substrate 106 which is formed above the reservoir plate and constitutes sidewalls of pressure chambers 124 with which the through-holes and supply ports communicate; an elastic plate 108 formed above the pressure chambers and the substrate; and piezoelectric elements 112 formed above the elastic plate. A liquid is supplied from the reservoir space via the supply ports to the pressure chambers. The liquid is ejected via the through-holes from the nozzle holes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
