PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement by a flow-down type viscometer by making the viscometer operable with one hand and making the other hand available for supporting a coating material container or for other works. SOLUTION: A holder body is installed to fix an upper end part of a grip in freely detachable manner which is installed in a flow-down type viscometer for measuring the viscosity of a coating material based on a flowing-out time by freely dropping the coating material from an outlet at a container's lower end and a stop watch is installed in the holder body. In the holder body, an installation part enabled to attach the upper end part of the grip, which is stuck to the container's upper part of the viscometer, in a detachable manner through one-touch operation and to detach the upper end part of the grip is formed. The base for installing a stop watch is configured in a manner that the holder body and the display face of the stop watch can be connected by a rotary shaft for freely setting the angle between them.
