The present invention provides a multiple functional grating filter for being able to reduce the noises and prevent sewer gases from entering buildings. The present invention also provides a plumbing system comprising a multiple functional grating filter and a trap pipe; thereby the plumbing system has dual mechanisms for preventing sewer gases from entering buildings.
