SURFACE EMISSION APPARATUS, LIGHT GUIDE PLATE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIGHT GUIDE PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface emission apparatus capable of enhancing uniformity of intensity of invisible light rays emitted from a light emitting surface, and to provide a light guide plate and a method of manufacturing the light guide plate.

SOLUTION: An optical element scattering more of invisible light rays than visible light rays is formed on a surface 23 facing a light emitting surface emitting the invisible light rays, the optical element decides the installation position and number based on the intensity of the invisible light rays emitted from the light emitting surface of a light guide plate 20. Groove 33 scattering visible light rays are formed by injection molding on the surface 23 facing the light emitting surface of the light guide plate 20, and dots 32 containing pigment scattering invisible light rays and absorbing visible light rays are formed by printing.
