<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus which are configured so that the process cartridge can be positioned in a body of the image forming apparatus in the radial and lengthwise directions of a photoreceptor drum, with the process cartridge attached to the body of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The detachable process cartridge is carried to the inside of the body of the image forming apparatus from the outside thereof while supported by a moving member. The moving member has, at both its lengthwise ends, target parts to be positioned in the body side positioning parts when the movable member is lowered. In order that a non-driving side having an electrical contact be positioned in the body of the image forming apparatus with the target parts positioned in the body positioning parts, the upper face of the frame body of the process cartridge has a pressed portion that receives the elastic force of a body side elastic member from obliquely above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
