<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor of the dictionary registration of a user by making the user register dictionary entry for translation from first language into second language, and automatically using the dictionary entry for translation from the second language to the first language. <P>SOLUTION: A machine translation system includes: a dictionary storage means for storing a dictionary to be used for translation; a translation means for translating input information from first language into second language by using the dictionary stored by the dictionary storage means; and a dictionary entry generation means for reverse translation, which generates a dictionary entry for reverse translation for translating words included in the translation result by the translation means from the second language into the first language by using the dictionary stored by the dictionary storage means, and which registers the generated dictionary entry for reverse translation in the dictionary stored by the dictionary storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
