<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marking system which forms a strain-free mark while installing a conveyance distance detecting means in a follower roller, and to provide a laser marking apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The laser marking system forms a mark with a laser beam while a workpiece is transported, wherein the average value of a pulse period is calculated by sampling a pulse output from a conveyance distance detecting means installed in the follower roller. Coordinate data are corrected with a timing based on a correction pulse, whereby the strain-free mark is formed while the conveyance distance detecting means is installed in the follower roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
