PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a dwelling using a marine container is unsuitable for long-term inhabitation because a living space thereof is narrow. SOLUTION: In an equipment building unit 1, only kitchens 3, toilets 4 and bathrooms 5 are installed in a skeleton 2 using the marine container; and entrances 6 are provided. The kitchens, the toilets, the bathrooms and the entrances are constituted in such a manner as to be point-symmetrical with respect to a bisectional point of a wall 2d. A living space building unit 14 serving as a living room, a bedroom, etc. is connected to a side surface of the building unit 1. Both the building units 1 and 14 can be turned into a multiple dwelling house by being stacked on each other to constitute a structure with two or more stories.
