PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door mechanism capable of increasing door closing force of a car side door panel or a hall side door panel when it is in an open position and gradually decreasing the door closing force as it moves toward a close position in consideration of a case where it contacts an obstacle. SOLUTION: The elevator door mechanism 1 includes the car side door panel 10 provided for opening and closing on a car 2 of the elevator, a door panel driving means 5 opening and closing the car side door panel 10, and a car side hanger 12 provided above the car side door panel 10 and including a hold part 12b holding the car side door panel 10. A car side hanger rail 13 is provided adjacent to the car side hanger 12 for slidably holding the car side hanger 12.
