PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of the rear edge of a toilet lid in the toilet lid and toilet upper surface equipment in which the rear edge of the toilet lid is abutted to the receiving part of a casing when the toilet lid is erected. SOLUTION: On the lower surface side of a support piece attaching part 11b provided on both left and right end sides of the rear edge 11a of the main plate part 11 of the toilet lid 10, a support piece 20 provided with a stopper part S and a pivoting part 24 is attached. The support piece 20 is constituted of a material stronger than a toilet lid body. The rear edge of the stopper part S is matched with the rear edge of the support piece attaching part 11b. When the toilet lid 10 is erected and turned backward to a prescribed angle, the stopper part S is abutted to the receiving part 6 of a toilet seat box 2, and the toilet lid 10 is not turned backward further.
