#CMT# #/CMT# The battery has a container (2) containing an electrochemical group (9) with an alternation of positive and negative electrodes, enclosing separators that are impregnated of an electrolyte, where the battery is of prismatic/concentric shape. A current output terminal (7) i.e. negative terminal, traverses a lid. A connector (10) connects the electrodes of a polarity, to the terminal. The connector has a plane connection (15) e.g. metallic disc, welded to the electrodes, and an elastic connection (20) that is fitted to the terminal when the container is closed with the lid having the terminal. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a sealed storage battery. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Cylindrical shaped sealed storage battery e.g. lithium-ion type sealed storage battery, nickel cadmium type sealed storage battery and nickel metal hydride type sealed storage battery, for producing electricity by converting chemical energy into electrical energy. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The elastic connection of the connector is fitted with the output terminal when the container is closed with the lid having the output terminal, thus eliminating manual operation of insertion and folding of a connection tab inside the connector, and hence manufacturing the battery, in a simple manner. The battery absorbs clearance between an inner diameter of a crown and an outer diameter of the output terminal for ensuring better electrical contact between a pin and the terminal.
