<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light generating device capable of achieving uniform dispersion of light even if the weight of a portion where a light is dispersed is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The light generating device has a base section for mounting a circuit board having a plurality of light emitting elements juxtaposed thereon, and a light transmissive section having engaging portions each engaging to side ends of the bas section and a tubular external circumferential surface between the engaging portions to emit lights from the light emitting elements. The light transmissive section includes an internal light transmissive section for covering the light emitting elements spaced apart from the light emitting elements according to the light emitting elements, and an external circumferential section provided outside the internal light transmissive section, wherein the end of a hollow section consisting of a gap between the internal light transmissive section and the external circumferential sections has a rectangularly round cross section. A light passing through near the corner portions of the rectangularly round hollow portion is further dispersed, and a light passing through the light transmissive portion can be uniformly dispersed when viewing the light transmissive portion from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
