<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave length conversion type light trapping film that reduces a loss of sun light caused by spectrum mismatching, and increases light use efficiency by controlling the propagation direction of light to improve the power generation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the light trapping film used as one of light transmitting layers of a solar cell module having a plurality of light transmitting layers and a solar cells, a formula n1≤n2≤...≤nm is satisfied when the plurality of light transmitting films are represented by a layer 1, a layer 2, ... and a layer m, and the refractive indices are represented by n1, n2, ..., nm. The light trapping film is at least a member of the film of the plurality of films. The light transmitting film is disposed on the light receiving plane of the solar cell. The light trapping film has a large number of fine protruded or recessed polygonal pyramids or a cones densely covering the light receiving plane, the refractive indices thereof are between 1.6 to 2.4, and a fluorescent material consisting of a europium complex is contained therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
