PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant monitoring system, capable of displaying and recording a change time of plant monitoring signals managed by the whole system without time-series inconsistency or without being affected by loss of communication data due to communication failure or the like. SOLUTION: Plant monitoring signals from a plurality of input devices 1a, 1b, 1c and 3d are received once by a representative device 2, and the representative device 2 detects a signal change, and takes the detection time in the representative device 2 as a change time of signal. The representative device 2 periodically performs delivery of the change time together with delivery information to display and recording devices 3a, 3b and 3c. The display and recording devices compare the delivered information with the information delivered previously, and take, when the delivered information is changed, the time information in the delivery information as the change time. According to this, the change time of plant monitoring signals can be displayed and recorded without time-series inconsistency or without being affected by communication failure or the like.
