INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold for an internal combustion engine capable of adjusting torque characteristics with a very simple and low cost structure. SOLUTION: Each branch 2 is formed in a curved shape rounded as a whole with winding one end at an upstream side of an intake passage 5 therein, and is formed to hold a collector part 6 forming an intake air collecting chamber 7 at one end of winding side. A communication hole 8 always providing short cut communication between the intake air collection chamber 7 and a longitudinal direction middle part of an intake air passage 4 is formed at a bulkhead 9 part which exists at a longitudinal direction middle part of each intake passage 4 and is commonly used for each branch 2 and the collector part 6.
