PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a data image signal without reducing a video signal. SOLUTION: An image processing circuit 10 includes a section 102 for inputting a video signal AGS, a section 104 for inputting a data signal DGS, a section 110 for storing two or more video signals AGS as a frame image for each frame, a data image storage section 114 for storing the data signal DGS, a section 116 for extracting an unchanged still image region by comparing preceding and following frame images, a section 118 for determining whether a still image region includes a data region required for displaying the data signal DGS or not, and a section 120 for compounding the data signal DGS to the still image region of a frame image before being output.
