PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat dissipator having excellent heat dissipation performance, which is made of inexpensive materials. SOLUTION: A heat dissipator 1 includes: an insulated substrate 3 having one surface on which a heating element is to be mounted; and a heatsink 5 positioned on the other surface side of the insulated substrate 3. An aluminum layer 7 is formed on the surface opposite to the heating element mount surface of the insulated substrate 3, and a stress relief member 4 made of an aluminum coated sheet or an aluminum alloy coated sheet is interposed between the aluminum layer 7 and the heatsink 5. The aluminum layer 7, the stress relief member 4, and the heatsink 5 are bonded together by means of the same type of brazing filler metal in a single process. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
