PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To access and understand a status of each file which constitutes 3D (three dimensional) model data currently kept by a server device with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A three dimensional CAD model data management device comprises a 3D model data management server device (A) and 3D model data editing client device (B). A 3D model data registration processor B5 of the client device (B) obtains a 3D model registration list file of each file which constitutes 3D model data currently displayed in a 3D-CAD system B6 from the 3D-CAD system and stores it in an external storage A4 of the server device (A) together with the 3D model data. Meanwhile 3D model data management processor A5 of the server device (A) refers to the 3D model registration list file to an access request from the client device (B) and returns the access propriety based on management information indicating the access propriety set in each file which constitutes this file.
