摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image reading apparatus which has simple structure and yields radiation image information free from distortion even when an impact is caused in a storage type phosphor panel because of entry of the storage type phosphor panel into a nip roller. SOLUTION: The image reading apparatus 26 has a correction position read part 108 and an image correction part 110 in an apparatus control part 80. The correction position read part 108 reads a first position to be corrected Po1 (row information) and a second position to be corrected Po2 (row information) registered in an information table 102 stored in a data memory 100 after finishing reading of an image from the storage type phosphor panel P. The image correction part 110 performs correction for images corresponding to the first position to be corrected Po1 and the second position to be corrected Po2 out of the pieces of read radiation image information 92.
