PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching/detaching device of a pipe connecting member easily constructible without upsizing the attaching/detaching device, and attaching/detaching the pipe connecting member in a continuous flow without requiring skills. SOLUTION: This attaching/detaching device of the pipe connecting member is provided for attaching/detaching the pipe connecting member FP, by water-tightly inserting a valve element 2a between opposed surfaces of flanges F1 and F2 by a valve element insertion part 1, by out-fitting the valve element insertion part 1 to the flanges F1 and F2 interposed between a branch part B of an existing fluid pipe P and the pipe connecting member FP connected to the branch part B. The valve element insertion part 1 is provided with insertion hole closing means 26, 27 for air-tightly closing bolt insertion holes 24, 25 with connecting bolts BN for connecting both the flanges F1, F2 taken out. The valve element 2a is inserted by passing between disposed positions of the bolt insertion holes 24, 25 in both the flanges F1, F2 closed by the insertion hole closing means 26, 27.
