PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular detergent composition with a high re-contamination preventive performance. SOLUTION: The granular detergent composition contains (A)α-sulfo-fatty acid alkyl ester salt of 5 to 20 mass%, (B) a soap of 3 to 10 mass%, (C) a 10-14C alkyl or alkenyl ether sulfate of 1 to 5 mass% and (D) hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose of 0.1 to 3 mass%.
