PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a biofuel which can be used as an alternative fuel by esterifying a plant and animal oil such as a waste food oil, a vegetable oil and an animal oil. SOLUTION: This method for producing the biofuel comprises: a step of producing methoxy sulfate; a step of producing a crude ester by separation of a free fatty acid after mixing the methoxy sulfate with an animal and plant oil and agitating it; a step of producing sodium methoxide; a step of esterifying the crude ester by mixing the sodium methoxide with the crude ester and agitating it; a step of neutralizing the esterified biofuel using a coral, a far-infrared radiative ceramic and/or a natural silica stone; and a step of deodorizing and decolorizing the neutralized biofuel using ozone and an ultrasonic wave.
