PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a safe drive by a driver by eliminating the dead angles of opaque front pillar parts while using the front pillar parts. SOLUTION: In a drive supporting device, images including the ranges of the dead angles of the right and left front pillars 14L, 14R are acquired by a camera 10 so that the images can be seen from the driver as if the right and left front pillars 14L, 14R are absent, converted by an image signal processing part 130, and displayed on right and left displays 30L, 30R, respectively. Based on the position (and distance) of an obstacle detected by right and left obstacle sensors 20L, 20R, a warning sound or a warning voice is output from the right and left speakers 40L, 40R of a warning determination part 140. Since the attention of the driver to the image of the obstacle displayed on the right and left displays 30L, 30R is further increased, the drive supporting device can support the driver's safer driving.
