PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing member of excellent shock absorption performance, in detail, to provide the shock absorbing member having sufficient rigidity under a static load, capable of reducing the maximum load applied onto an object when receiving an impact of high speed, and capable of absorbing great energy. SOLUTION: This shock absorbing member has structure provided with a rib a height having 50% or more of wall thickness of a plane part, in the plane part, the shock absorbing member comprises a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin A and a resin B having a reactive functional group, the thermoplastic resin composition satisfies E(V1)>E(V2) in V1<V2, in a tensile test, where V1, V2 represent respectively tensile velocities, and E(V1), E(V2) represent respectively tensile elastic modula at V1, V2.
