An image processing device includes: a change amount calculation unit (751) which calculates a change amount between each of the in-tube images constituting time sequential images captured by an encapsulated endoscope moving in a tube and stored in a portable recording medium (50) and other image in the time sequential vicinity; a section setting unit (752) which sets a predetermined time sequential section based on the change amount between the images; and a region classification unit (753) which classifies the images contained in the time sequential section into a plurality of category regions by using a classification standard for each of the time sequential section.
