PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, enabling to suppress the formation of deposits in an additive injection passage.

SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device for the internal combustion engine comprises: an exhaust passage for guiding exhaust gas from the engine to the outside; a catalyst provided on the midway of the exhaust passage; the injection passage connected to the upstream side of the catalyst in the exhaust passage; an additive injection valve installed in the injection passage for supplying the additive through the injection passage to the catalyst; and an in-flow part provided in an area where the exhaust passage and the injection passage are combined so that part of exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust passage flows into the injection passage.
