<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus that can improve development efficiency and can prevent beads carry over onto a photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: The developing apparatus 100 includes the photoreceptor drum 160, a magnetic roller 120 and an electrode 150. The photoreceptor drum 160 is an electrostatic latent image carrier for carrying an electrostatic latent image in a peripheral surface thereof. The magnetic roller 120 is provided opposite to the photoreceptor drum 160 in a developing region where a toner image is formed by developing the electrostatic latent image using a developer that contains a magnetic carrier and a non-magnetic carrier, wherein the magnetic roller 120 includes thereinside a magnetic field generation member 122 consisting of a plurality of a magnetic pole. The electrode 150 is provided opposite to the photoreceptor drum 160 and magnetic roller 120, in an upstream side of a rotating direction of the magnetic roller 120 in the developing region. Alternating voltage, to which a direct current voltage and an alternating-current voltage are superimposed, are applied to the electrode 150 of the developing apparatus 100; and the direct-current voltage is applied to a development sleeve 121 of the magnetic roller 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
