PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit and a ventilating duct for an air conditioner in which a conveying passage for ventilation air is defined in the vicinity of a piping space without allowing communicating piping for refrigerant and an air conveying hose to interfere with each other in the piping space. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with: the ventilating duct 2 having a body, a diffusing part provided at the upper end of the body, and an entrance part provided at the lower end of the body; the air conveying hose 4 connected to the entrance part of the ventilation duct 2 for letting the ventilation air pass; and the piping space 7 formed at a bottom frame 1. When the air conveying hose 4 is drawn from a connection part side, the air conveying hose 4 is made to pass through the piping space 7 from the connection part side to a side part of the opposite side. When the air conveying hose 4 is drawn from the side part of the opposite side of the connection part side, the air conveying hose 4 is connected to the entrance part of the ventilation duct 2 without passing through the piping space 7.
