PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sneak canceler which stably operates even when there is group delay characteristics in the band edge of a higher order station wave reception signal. SOLUTION: The sneak canceler is provided with a sneak propagation path estimation part 10 for controlling the filter coefficient of an adaptive filter. The sneak propagation path estimation part 10 is provided with: an FFT (Fourier transformation) part 20 for transforming a signal after sneak cancellation into a carrier symbol; a band division part 22 for dividing the signal of a transmission path response calculated from the carrier symbol into a plurality of sub-bands; a plurality of normalization parts 23-n for subtracting signals of the transmission path responses of the respective sub-bands to normalize them with the average value of the transmission path response signals of the respective sub-bands as a higher order station wave component; a band composition part 25 for combining bands of the transmission path response signals after normalization with one another; and a cancel residual calculation part 26 for calculating a cancellation residual from the normalized transmission path response signal.
