PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unwanted emission from an opening of a reflecting plate by reducing the dimensions of the opening punched via which an element antenna constituted by forming conductors on a dielectric substrate can pass through the reflecting plate. SOLUTION: An antenna device has: the element antenna constituted by forming the conductors on the dielectric substrate; the reflecting plate for reflecting some part of electric wave radiated by the element antenna; and the opening for allowing the element antenna to pass through the reflecting plate. In the antenna device, two metal plates are used and the dielectric substrate passes through the metal plates before the metal plates are shifted, thus forming the reflecting plate having the opening smaller than those of the two metal plates constituting the reflecting plate.
