PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication to be surely performed to an on-vehicle unit of which a requirement of information is high within a service area, to reduce waste of wireless resources and to effectively utilize wireless resources. SOLUTION: In a wireless resource allocation control system 1, each of on-vehicle units 20a-20k transmits present-vehicle information relating its own vehicle to a road-side unit 10. Then, the road-side unit 10 receives present-vehicle information from the on-vehicle units 20a-20k. On the basis of the present-vehicle information transmitted from the on-vehicle units 20a-20k, the road-side unit 10 calculates priority levels of the on-vehicle units. Continuously, the road-side unit 10 ranks the on-vehicle units in accordance with the calculated priority levels and allocates wireless resources in the order starting from the highest-priority on-vehicle unit. Moreover, the road-side unit 10 releases wireless resources of low-priority on-vehicle units to which the wireless resources are not allocated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
