PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with a lens barrel having impact resistance performance of absorbing impact to suppress deformation and breakage of an external member, reducing the impact force propagating to an internal constitution member via the external member, and suppressing adverse effect of the impact force on the lens barrel when the excessive impact from the outside is applied to the front face, a side surface or the like of the lens barrel, and to provide the lens barrel. SOLUTION: The camera with the lens barrel 1 includes a frame member 20 forming the lens barrel, an external member 12d for covering the outer surface of the frame member, and an impact absorbing member 56 arranged between the frame member and the external member.
