PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cork flooring material that is lightweight, equipped with shock absorbability close to a tatami mat, and useful as an architectural material for houses or the like. SOLUTION: The cork flooring material A is obtained by laminating into one unit a lower layer 1 and an upper layer 2 which are each formed by fixing granular cork materials with a binder resin. The flooring material A is characterized in that the grain size of the granular cork material used for the formation of the layers is smaller in the lower layer 1 than in the upper layer 2, that the thickness of the lower layer 1 is 4-6 times the thickness of the upper layer 2, and that the density of the lower layer is 0.24-0.30 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and the density of the upper layer is 0.27-0.35 g/cm<SP>3</SP>.
