PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body of an absorbent article, which does not easily form sharp folding on the absorbent article and is capable of obtaining excellent fitness and leakage preventing effect while the absorbent article is worn. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the packaging body 10 of the absorbent article, wherein the practically vertically long absorbent article 1 provided with a skin abutting surface, a skin non-abutting surface and an absorbent 4 interposed between both surfaces is folded in the longitudinal direction and packaged by a packaging material. The absorbent 4 has bend areas B41 and B42 where a plurality of bend assisting means S1-S3 which extend in the width direction of the absorbent 4 and have a length shorter than the entire width of the absorbent are formed shifting positions in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent, and the absorbent article 1 is bent at parts where the bend areas B41 and B42 exist.
