<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved exhaust gas recirculating (EGR) device for reducing a combustion temperature and the exhaust amount of NOx to improve the performance of a whole engine. <P>SOLUTION: The EGR device comprises a mixing pipe having an air intake port, an exhaust port, and an exhaust gas intake port arranged in the region of the mixing pipe between the air intake port and the exhaust port, wherein the exhaust gas intake port is formed to mix exhaust gas with air in the mixing pipe. The exhaust gas intake port also has an exhaust gas intake ring. The EGR device also has a diffuser nozzle arranged in the region of the mixing pipe between the exhaust gas intake ring and the exhaust port.
